Is it OK to talk to the police at the scene of the accident?

Yes. When you talk to police or other law enforcement officers, however, always stick to the facts: what happened, when and where it happened, and who was involved. Don’t accuse someone else of being at fault, or try to take the blame yourself. Wait to see whether there were any facts you don’t know about that explain what really went wrong.

I was born and raised to represent individuals who have been needlessly injured. I mean that literally. At a young age my father would tell me about the clients he was representing. I would meet them and take pride in their admiration of my father. I always knew I wanted to be a lawyer and represent clients that needed my help.
